Whether you have posted a publicity news release or video release or both. We want it to be as perfect as humanly possible before going live. Your post is reviewed for:

  • Make sure release is newsworthy and not generic ad disguised as a release or old out-dated rehashed news or work.
  • Correct any errors in Headline, Subhead, Caption, Description, Credits or Dateline dateline info.
  • Remove any garbage coding picked up in copy & paste of your release into SPW’s WYSIWYG editor.
  • Clean and make do URL hyperlinks validation to avoid broken or corrupt links and make sure they open in new tabs (_blank) on reader’s browser.
  • If video release or included news release, FULL credits lists are required and will be reviewed for completeness.
  • Make sure Registered Trademark symbols included where required (i.e.. Academy Award®)
  • Typos, Spelling errors, coding, punctuation, etc.
  • Proper image and logo rendering, sharpening, cropping, re-sizing of images in Photoshop, etc.
  • Overall appearance and style for a clean professional look.
  • Does the video play? Are there any privacy settings affecting the viewing.
  • Check and match styling of posting to match SHOOT design style for clean professional overall look (i.e. convert ALL CAPS headline to All Initial Caps)
  • If appropriate, add/replace graphics and embed YouTube/Vimeo video players where just links provided for reader ease of viewing.
